I've finialy started up my souyz/salyut/mir/almaz project again. Still alot of code to do, the finial release will be quite extensive. As of now I plan to release Soyuz 7K-T and Salyut 6, as the first release, more will follow.

Preview renders of Salyut 6 mesh:
Mesh is by Jupiter

Thank-you Jupiter for the mesh.

Small criticism:

The green color is the result of soviet film material, which is more green sensitive. The green material is more a dark gray, like on Soyuz spacecraft today.

The region around the aft docking port has a gap around the docking port, in which support machinery and sensors are visible.

Your mesh is closer to Salyut 7:

Also, note that the radiator section at the aft end is white as well...it only discolored like the rest of the spacecraft after years in space.

Nice model !

I'm taking the liberty of uploading the best Salyut 6 images I have:

From those, I made a tentative texture for the main station cylinder:

It might be useful to sort out some details. On general, it's the same basic layout as Mir (portholes, thrusters, etc).

Finally, one of many photos (I have more) I took of a nice model with lots of fine details:

Hope this is useful! If you need any help just ask !
