Hey guys, I am new there so the question is what addons do I have to install to have proper experience? I would like to not have anything special, just some good additions to the core.

I assume you're flying Orbiter 2016.
Start with Orbiter Sound: http://orbiter.dansteph.com/forum/index.php?page=download
D3D9 graphics is better than the stock D7, be sure to follow the installation instructions precisely: http://users.kymp.net/~p501474a/D3D9Client/

For MFD add-ons, everyone has his/her favorites, but, most of the time I use LaunchMFD (see forum thread https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/launch-mfd-v-1-6-6-for-orbiter-2016.587/), Lunar TransferMFD and InterplanetaryMFD (http://users.kymp.net/p501474a/Orbiter/Orbiter.html), and HoverMFD (https://www.orbithangar.com/showAddon.php?id=1b889160-c38b-4eaa-ba44-b3357c711c12). If you like TransXMFD, don't use the one in the stock Orbiter, get the newest one (http://orbiter.quorg.org/).
There are many other good ones out there, such as Aerobrake, Attitude, Burntime, but, the above is what I use the most.
Enjoy!

And do check out the OrbiterWiki. It has many good articles about pretty much everything. Go to Category: Videos, and check out David Courtney and TexFilms videos. I learned IMFD from Courtney’s videos.

Probably. I’ve used it a few times, just don’t think of it sometimes. I should try it for orbital insertion, hyper to circular. IMFD doesn’t always get it quite right.

I would prefer the XR Sound available at here. XR Sound is much more customisable than the Orbiter Sound, and will be highly encouraged for future Orbiter versions. Besides, the XR Sound is required for the XR fleet of vehicles by @dbeachy1.

However, you cannot use the Orbiter Sound and the XR Sound simultaneously. If you have installed the XR Sound, then you should install the Sound Bridge addon by @Face for legacy add-ons requiring the Orbiter Sound add-on.

For MFD add-ons...
If you like TransXMFD, don't use the one in the stock Orbiter, get the newest one
This is the TransX you want

And all the other MFDs, wich exchange their variables by means of ModuleMessaging

Out off the top of my head:
TransX, Launch MFD, RV Orientation, Glideslope, BurnTimeCalcMFD, BaseSyncMFD, and maybe others I forgot...

D3D9 and MFD addons are pretty good imo. I'll definitely recommend them for everyone else who is looking for the good mods. Thanks for the tip tho :)

Side note: I do use some sounds (i.e. cabin ambience, radio telemetry etc.) from the Orbiter Sound, by manually unpacking the add-on somewhere else (nowadays I use Command Prompt to create a fake Orbiter.exe for the manual unpacking) and copying some sounds to the relevant subdirectory under XRSound.
