As if 2020 was not bad enough. That's sad news to me, Van Halen's 5150 was what helped me through a bitter youth. Eddie, wherever you are now: keep on rockin'.

Eddie Van Halen was one of favorite guitar players ever,I was shocked when,I read this,I didn’t even know that he had cancer,well more of the 2020 curse.R.I.P Edward V we will surely miss you.

He was a legend from the start, "Eruption" the gold standard challenge for any serious lead guitarist. And many people will never realize that it was him, who played the guitar solo on Michael Jacksons "Beat it".

I doubt my life would have been the same without Van Halen, really. I remember how we played "Jump" on the great analog synthesizers in our school, when the teacher was not paying attention...

Yeah,when,I was younger my band use to cover a lot of Van Halen,before,I lost use of my fingers,and Fair warning was my favorite album from them.
