While recently browsing, I have noticed that the "heart" reaction seems to have been disabled on the forums. I also remember that up until about a year ago or so, the "laugh" or "smile" reaction was available and seemingly removed without notice as well. I was wondering what the rationale was for the removal of these reactions?

We found that especially in the forums where more serious topics are being discussed, the reactions we've removed were being used almost exclusively to troll other users.

As this is not in-keeping with our rules, we took the decision to reduce the set of available reactions to curtail this kind of behaviour.
