I am thinking about making a tutorial for atmospheric flight with the DG-IV. What would you guys like to see in the tutorial? Anything in particular?

Yes, I really struggle with landing the dgiv it is very sensitive and i normally get into trouble with the hovering and landing too fast. some help with this will be great!

PAPI is the glidescope indicator.

A lower vertical speed is this. -10m/s. You will fall like a rock unlike +10m/s you will glide.

Oh yeah. I will add a lot of pictures which will separate the different sections, but I feel like something else is missing.

Isn't the DGIV's glideslope better than the shuttle's? The KSC PAPI is tuned for the shuttle...

The normal interpretation is like this:

Vertical speed -0.1 to -1 m/s. Low vertical speed, good for landing.
Vertical speed -10 m/s. High vertical speed, you are in for trouble.

I kinda structured that sentence bad. Sorry. I meant exactly what you were saying. I have landed at -9 m/s once.
