Advanced Question D3D9 Acting Weird

So I've recently reinstalled orbiter 2016 and I decided to get d3d9 again since it improved the game a lot for me graphics wise. so I installed r3.12 (the latest stable version of it) and I loaded it on the ng version like normal but it keeps crashing and not saving my config. it worked perfect last month so does anyone know how to fix this?

Could you post the Orbiter.log and give a list of add-ons you have installed.

There is nothing in the log that would indicate a problem. Altough, having the "D3D9Client.dll" written in a lower-case is unusual.

Have you run those add-ons with D3D9 before ? Or is this the first time ?

You said that D3D9 was working perfectly before, what version was it ?

I would recommend reinstalling R3.13 and make sure that all old files are replaced with new ones. (R3.13 is a beta but should be equally stable than R3.12)

First try D3D9 Client with only default Orbiter 2016 without having any add-ons installed.
Once you confirm that it is working fine, then install add-ons one by one.

Orbiter_ng.exe has to be run with administrator privileges for your custom changes to be saved. Right click on orbiter_ng.exe and click on run as administrator

The D3D9Client doesn't require any add-ons other than runtime libraries for the DirectX which you seem to have.

Well running as admin did make it save it's options but not fix the crash thing, does anyone know if it could be a advanced setting that's doing this?
