That has to be the best video I've seen describing orbits. I can't believe I've never seen it before! This might even be good for the tutorials page or at least external links.

Seeing that video has inspired me to work on a tutorial I had planned on doing for a long time now. I'm not sure if I can finish it all today, but I'm working on it right now. I'll post it on the forum when finished. It should help you achieve that orbit and even rendezvous with ISS.

If you're using the DGIV again I suggest mentioning heading adjust during the automated ascent. When AlignMFD nodes are 90° away, press [Num 4] or [Num 6] to put the nose on the prograde line of the Orbit HUD.

I'm using the default delta glider and focusing more on the application of orbital mechanics with some specific examples using the orbit, align, and sync MFDs.
