Hi,
In v. 2010, I loved getting into Atlantis, pulling up a TERM, using the INP button to enter " run('atlantis/launch') " and a couple of other things, and then watching the autopilot get me into orbit. In v. 2016, I was surprised to find that these commands still work! However, watching the text display during launch, I noticed some problems. For eg: pitch 40 setpitch initiated (40deg, tmax=10, tol=0) setpitch timed out (t=10.02) residuals: angle=###, vel=### And since the shuttle didn't change pitch, I knew things were awry. (all the pitch commands ended this way) So -- is there a way to fix the old method, or is there a new method to get the shuttle into orbit (so I can dock at the ISS) in v. 2016? Thanks for your help! --PDN ---------- Post added at 07:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:43 PM ---------- I just found the tutorial, and from there, the AscentAP module. These should get me going. Thanks anyway! (I guess LaunchMFD is obsolete, for this task anyway...) Thanks! |
