Yesterday, when I was at my home glider site, I had the luck to be at right time and place to see (and hear!) the last flying B17 in Europe flying by.

There's an airshow in Ede next saturday where it is expected. It's also rumored that one or two flying Bf 109's will be put on display. That, to my knowledge, would be the first time that this plane can be seen flying in The Netherlands.

Doubt they'll get permission, and wouldn't do it I'm sure.

Displays would satisfy most folk, could be the last time to see one flying.
