A moment in Computer history, December 16, 1951...



There are three candidates for the first piece of music performed by a computer, 'Colonel Bogey' (CSIRAC, Australia), 'God Save The King/Queen' (Manchester Mk. II (aka Ferranti Mk. I), England) and 'Jingle Bells' (Whirlwind, United States.), this is the only one of the three where the performance was documented on television...
