Arrow Multistage2015 Saturn Rockets for Orbiter 2010 P1
by OrbitHangar 04-22-2018, 11:49 PM

Author: 1987vcrproductions

The long awaited Multistage2015 Saturn launchers. All the required add-ons and where to find them are in the PDF located in the Doc folder. Once you've verified that you have all the required add-ons installed, unzip Multistage2015 Saturns into your main Orbiter 2010 P1 directory.

Special thanks to Sputnik who allowed me to redistribute a few of their meshes from Velcro Rockets and Velcro Saturns.

EDIT: I mistakenly credited 4throck instead of Sputnik for the Velcro Rockets meshes that I used. I got the two confused and made an error. Hopefully I've gotten everything right now.

I plan on doing some testing with Orbiter 2016 and reworking MS2k15 Saturns to work with it.

Why for 2010P1? (I know what will be the answer). It's been two years since release of Orbiter 2016. Something's wrong with Orbiter development ... But I use only 2016 version and never thought about going to 2010 ever since. In spite of some incompatibilities...

Simply because I started working on this add-on back when Orbiter 2016 was barely a thing. Also, I'm currently working on a release for Orbiter 2016, so I ask that you be a little patient.

It's not "some" incompatibilities. Very few Orbiter 2010 add-ons work in Orbiter 2016. Considering the number of dependencies on legacy add-ons that this has, it makes sense. Some of use keep a copy of Orbiter 2010 for older add-on use. Orbiter 2010 didn't stop being excellent just because Orbiter 2016 has ""slightly" better graphics.

The development thread for the 2016 version is here: https://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=39448. It'll be more of a bare bones release as the great majority of the add-ons that we've come to know and love are not compatible in Orbiter 2016, but I hope it will be something that can be built upon.

I like this and looking forward to 2016, I can't sep the fairings and Apollo 7 has pad 34 not Apollo 5 and none of the SA 5 launches have the pad

The F key separates the payload fairings. To separate the CSM, press J, then switch to the CSM and press Ctrl+J to separate from the SLA. Kev's Apollo 17 Night Launch is required for the Saturn V pads (it can be found here: https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1373). I'm not sure what you're on about concerning Apollo 7 and Apollo 5. Apollo 7 left from LC-34 and Apollo 5 launched from LC-37B. All the historic launches occur from their correct launch complexes.
