Lightbulb Related to water body rendering in orbiter 2016

I would like to suggest another improvement of orbiter 2016 to its developer(s) :
Why not make water bodies reflect the sun more realistically- depending on the time and position of the sun ? (The current reflections from the sun do not look very good- although the water is reflecting the atmospheric light blue shade realistically)

Do you have specular water reflections and specular ripples turned on?

Yes, but it doesn't look very realistic.

Water should reflect the vessel and environment also

Hmm. Dx7 version may never have that feature implemented. But the dx9 client may be can implement it. The environment mapping currently implemented doesn't support reflections from water though. It only supports environment reflections from vessel glass surfaces. Again, to make use of these features you need to set up orbiter to use dx9 client
