This build is just an example. I didn't find your build too, because it became obsolete.
Blender is updating at a rate of at least 15 revisions a day, so you should try a newer one. Again, I don't know what was wrong with your build, but everything was OK with newer builds.

Yes !! Finally got it to work.
Thanks everyone - seems I didn't have the latest download from http://gitorious.org/blender-orbiter...tarball/master

Now I've just got to figure out how to texture in Blender.

Default can't get it to appear

hi, having a minor issue with the addon, if i copy the file into the right folder or add it using the blender install addon feature it doesn't show up on the list even as disabled, the console says 'addon-disable io orbiter mesh not loaded' which isn't terribly helpful
i'm running blender 2.56, i think i have an outdated version of python which may be the problem? i have python 2.6 and i see theres a 2.7 and 3.1 available, i'm quite new to blender so i might be doing something dense...

What is it's revision number? Because you have to use the latest builds.

Offtopic - can I have that girl as a Ummu crew lol. Perfect for Firefly-style missions in the wild frontier planets :D

Script loads textures automatically while loading the mesh, there is no button for it. If you want to see model textured in Blender window then you have to switch to "textured mode" to see textures on loaded mesh.

I made another small update due to API change in Blender 2.56.

As usual, the script now works in recent Blender 2.5 builds.

First, thank you for your Blender exporter.

However, there seems to be a problem in mesh export, probably with normals. The left main gear bay shows correctly whereas the right and nose gear bays seem to have their normals flipped (see attached images). There seem to be similar problems with some other objects in my model also. I've tried flipping normals in Blender but it didn't help. I guess this could have something to do with mirrored objects.

Also, it looks as if light is coming to the model "inverted". It is bright from below but dark from top when the sun is shining from above.

I'm using the latest script with BlenderYafaray32bit build 19.02.2011 from graphicall.org.

Can you give me your model for debugging? With complete list of export bugs?
