You can have namespaces nested in namespaces. I don't recommend too much nesting, but its possible.
Ahh...

That is good to know.

Imagine I do a repaint for the Skylab CSM (some parts are white).

Would it be possible to select that "skin" per scenario? Of course, overwriting the default texture will work, but since you already have several CMS versions on the add-on, I think it would make sense to have multiple textures

Expect a "Skylab" CSM repaint soon, complete with normal maps and graphic client configs that fix the VC materials, for example. This can be easily back converted into the standard lunar apollo paint scheme (and normal maps used as they are).
As far as I'm concerned, once released, Hlynkacg can use or improve upon them if he wishes

The repaint is release here:

It will overwrite the default textures, so take caution there. If you want to retain the standard look, only extract the normalmap and GC configurations.

First screenshot of the year featuring new Command Module mesh now with Texture/UV maping and 20 % fewer vertices.

Nice!

Indeed, we should talk some more :-) , because of this:

It's working via a phantom sc3 spacecraft docked to the CSM.
Not that elegant but allows for crew and cargo to transfer to Skylab B via attachments.
Tried with UMMU but it lacks simple things such as no RCS for the astronaut (as far as I know...)

PM on the forum works great for me.

Here are three new shots of the CM. I've been learning how to use blender's painting interface to generate new textures.

Looks quite nice.

I personally use both Blender tools and a photo editor to do textures.
I go back and forth between them and the UV editor, depending on the geometry.

The internal paint tools are good for curved and flowing areas, such as cloth, foil, etc. And also to do some cleanup, shadings, etc, etc...

Hi, guys!

Question for you, what is the difference between the NASSP-project apollo & the AAPO or another apollo project since right now I'm using the NASSP-project apollo? Thanks!

Cheers,
Vincent

Ideally, AAPO aims to simulate aesthetics and some degree of functionality of the Apollo spacecraft (flicking functional switches and such). If you're familiar with AMSO, the aesthetics are stunning and the functionality/ease of use is very accessible to the general orbinaut, while NASSP is geared towards hard-core spaceflight simulation with checklists and so forth. I guess the aim of this project would be to strike somewhat of a balance between aesthetics and functionality, if that makes any sense.

But I'm sure Hlynkacg wouldn't mind me saying that this project is just what the title suggests: another Apollo project. Just try 'em all out and see which you like best (and be advised that AAPO is still a work in progress). That's the beauty of having such a wide array of Orbiter add-ons.

AAPO integrates better with other Orbiter add-ons such as UMMU and UCGO. It also allows you to use the default MFDs in cockpit.

So think of it as an Apollo done with Orbiter tech.
