Weird so no thrust, mass changes? I can reverse the rotation direction The dll are the same for 2010 and 2016. So I wonder if the direction needs to be changed also

Didn’t appear so, the mass is still listed as 9953.22 kg and thrust was still 267.3 N.

new modules for 2010 or 2016

Sts109 for 2016 with HSt attached.

But how do you detach the HSt from the shuttle?

On the mass. Since the ISS and IRIS are docked. Should the mass be the total of them and the LAgoes? Then when undock the mass should be just the ISS?

So a new sts109 scn and mesh,..... Using the hst code the HSt auto attaches to ring.

New press K to detach the HST. It springs off. May need to press twice? Because of auto attach it has to spring off before it is in range.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=171..._gnaa9sxnQz6ux

This will be part of the whole release. To get to work in 2010 may need some work.

And got sts125 to redo for 2016. These and the sts 52,.... maybe separate from the whole package

---------- Post added at 04:59 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:45 AM ----------

Also new modules for sts52. 2010 and 2016 use the same.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1fY...RCaNRt2kkManIr

So it seems to get the HST off the shuttle you may need to attach it to the rms and move it. Makes sense.

Yes the HST was always moved into position for release, above the Shuttle's bay for release.

So no need for release key. Makes sense. I will recode it. Might try it in 2010 but may need to add a attachment id?

---------- Post added at 06:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:43 PM ----------

Here is the STS109 scn with working sts109 payload. G rotates FFSS and n/m rotate the ring. Autoattach to HST
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Qr...DQjzLaHXQwiqjX

---------- Post added 10-19-19 at 05:54 AM ---------- Previous post was 10-18-19 at 06:12 PM ----------

So the payload works in 2010 also. But which hst should we use?
I have a a mesh name hst109. which seems plain.

But yoy need to add an attachment point to bottom of the HSt and it needs an id of SCM

"That's the result for Orbiter2016" - shadows could be enabled as well to make it even more realistic

I just noticed, if there is a need to specify some historic cloud cover\amount during historic launch, Solxxx can be specified pointing to a certain Earthxxxx.cfg. There is (as all of you know) cloud altitude, and - the main thing - cloud rotation period in that file.
It's default value is 2e6, but if you change it to, say 2.0001e6, you will get different conditions (clouds). I had ugly seam during STS-109 launch so I changed 1.99999e6, and it moved away (~50-100km?). Value is sensitive, 1.999e6 or 2.001e6 will give significant difference.

So how animation do we want. In the orginal it had a lot. covers to open and assist arm moved?

Thanks. But I thought I had it hard coded. So in the scn if you have OBSS it shows it and then you can detach/reattach in the panel.

---------- Post added at 08:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:38 AM ----------

Also do we want 2 rms different arms. I am using Donamy arm. But for early shuttle it may not be correct

Don't know if they are online, but I'm sure there are global cloud cover images for every day since the 1970's somewhere....
Just for the sake of discussion, since resolution will be too low for our purposes. But in theory there's data (somewhere) to simulate accurate cloud cover.
