Updates SpaceX Falcon 9 F5 CRS SpX-2 through CRS SpX-12 Updates

To be fair Dragon seems to have come out of this accident relatively intact (in the few frames where you can see it it at least seems to be in one peace) and that's without rocket thrusters moving it away from the explosion. At least in this accident I see no reason to assume a crew would have...

Updates SpaceX Falcon 9 F5 CRS SpX-2 through CRS SpX-12 Updates

I didn't quite understand if he meant they had two before today (which they did) or two after this. They have two docking ports that are supposed to be set up for commercial crew with the IDA and had two IDAs for that, IDA-1 is now bust, is there a spare IDA-3 or not? Didn't seem clear to me.

But especially for crewed launches, safe spaceflight is inevitable. Presser starts now, I guess I just lost a bet.

Updates SpaceX Falcon 9 F5 CRS SpX-2 through CRS SpX-12 Updates

10 bucks on NET 1:15.:P ---------- Post added at 04:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:50 PM ---------- Both commercial cargo programs had failures now. Both in the launch vehicle that they developed and built themselves, while an Atlas and a Delta, while (hideously) expensive have very...

Oh damn, thanks! Then it looks like Progress and Kounotori might keep it on track over the summer, that's fantastic.

Updates SpaceX Falcon 9 F5 CRS SpX-2 through CRS SpX-12 Updates

ISS Consumable Status from April: Since SpX-6 didn't happen now only the left columns are relevant. Looks like KTO (waste containers) and food are the most limited. A Progress is scheduled for July 3rd and the Japanese Kounotori 5 is scheduled for mid-August. This will definitely mean the...

Because YouTube has that x0.25 feature, picturedump! Everything looking good: That's...something: Falcon got a new nose: Falcon got a new everything: Looks like it starts in the front, second stage or Dragon but I don't know if that's the location of the FTS. If you want you can watch...

Updates SpaceX Falcon 9 F5 CRS SpX-2 through CRS SpX-12 Updates

Wait a second...so IDA-1 has just landed somewhere in the Atlantic as well, huh? Do they have a third version of it on standby? This isn't just a supply issue for the station crew but also a station structure issue, they've just lost a needed component for manned commercial crew docking. Also...

Updates SpaceX Falcon 9 F5 CRS SpX-2 through CRS SpX-12 Updates

I'll pick #5: Vehicle disintegrates right before stage seperation. Whoa. Cygnus not flying for a while, this will lead to a stop in SpaceX...let's hope the Progress comeback next week works and the Japanese resupply is on track, this might be bad for the ISS.

Well, they need Kjell Lindgren up as Kelly's partner to install the IDA and that'll take another month.

Yes and actually the easiest to argue and write a lot about in my opinion, regardless of if you start it from a religious standpoint or just plain "empathy is kinda cool, mhmkay?" Yes and quite possible to argue as well, comparing different "values" or attitudes in different societies, a...

    Gaming Fallout 4 Announced

Mind you it's Fallout nuclear weapons, they seem to be somewhat different from the real world equivalent. Remember how Black Mountain in New Vegas looks like? Nuclear missiles fell right on there, make a thirty meter crater but the entire summit is flooded with radiation 200 years later? Or the...

Although you were apparently still outside when the bombs fell in the vicinity but still got into the vault which seems like...odd procedure. This must be a massive security risk, opening the vault door while the outside is getting irradiated and taking in people that might turn into ghouls...

    Gaming Fallout 4 Announced

It's definitely the first time you play in 2077, but Todd Howard said 200 years later, which would be 2277, the year Fallout 3 was set in, while New Vegas was set in 2281. And 3 and New Vegas were the furthest the timeline ever got, all previous games like the original, 2, Tactics were before...
