    I would guess the Windows Surface tablet could be a contender? It has an attachable keyboard. Forget how much it costs though.

    I've been having this same exact issue, except with the Total Immersion version of the Shuttle PB. Basically, it works just fine in the normal Orbiter client, but with D3D9, it crashes and reports an error message similar to the one posted by the OP.

    Hmm... I'm guessing the SSU cockpit is smaller than the default cockpit? Is there no way around this, even if it means replacing the entire Shuttle Fleet mesh with that of the SSU one? Or would that just create additional problems?
