    Search Orbital stations

Are there any futuristic orbital stations that work with Orbiter 2016? I’m trying to populate my world with things that I can dock to and travel between.

General Question Base maker for 2016?

So, if I’m not mistaken, the Orbiter Base Maker doesn’t work with Orbiter 2016. Is there a version that does work with it or something similar?

Share your ideas to make the Solar System feel alive

When I first tried Orbiter, I felt a bit put off by the lack of near future bases and stations. It felt like a flight simulator with just a few airports. I downloaded XR2, which has been my spaceship of choice ever since, but it seems pretty odd for it and ISS to exist in the same world. Future...

    Problem Problem with scenario editor

Using scenario editor, I can't place any vessel in stable orbit around a body other than Earth. Whenever I'm trying to set the semi-major axis to something that makes sense, it always makes it negative, with huge eccentricity, so that there is no apoapsis. It won't let me set eccentricity lower...

    General Question Near-future station addons?

Which addons would you recommend if I'd like to populate my space with some near-future stations, and perhaps bases? I'd love to have some more targets to visit in my XR2! Also, do I need to create new scenarios (if so, how?) to have them in my world?

Problem Is this a bug? Apoapsis and periapsis changing on their own

I am still a beginner, but I can get XR2 to ISS and dock by now. Sometimes, however, I’m encountering some anomalies. In my last attempt, I adjusted my apoapsis to catch up to ISS, it placed it quite close to periapsis - about 366k and 357k. When I tried to raise it back, I noticed that...

    Hello from London

Hi! I’m a space and wargaming enthusiast from London. I only recently discovered Orbiter after years of playing Elite, KSP and the alpha version of Star Citizen. Orbiter beats everything by far when it comes to realism and it’s already my new favourite!

OrbitMFD Apoapsis and periapsis both rising

After circularising my orbit, I've noticed that the orbit MFD broke - times required to reach the periapsis and apoapsis are constantly rising, approximately at the same ratio, with no thrust at all and altitudes remaining just the same. How is it even possible? I wanted to lower my periapsis...
