Gaming The Kerbal Space Program - Version 1.2.x

Today on going overboard: I put two of those huge tanks around the Mün and Minmus along with enough large kethane tanks to drain a deposit. Dockable engines are my favorite new thing now. I might make an SSTO that can undock it's liquid fuel engines and stick on a nuclear :hmm:

Gaming The Kerbal Space Program - Version 1.2.x

Actually, I just kept adding small tanks after the numerous mass-increasing edits I did (like the RCS) and was too lazy to remove them. Plus, it looks cool  Though, smaller tanks do dissipate heat rather well and can act as a cushion if you need to do lithobraking. I'm not kidding. The...

Gaming The Kerbal Space Program - Version 1.2.x

I utterly can't believe I did this: a full KW 135 ton tank in orbit. The craft you see next to is an SSTO, which docked to the fuel station on it's way to minmus. On the way there I 'decided' to visit a craft that was too heavy to take off (whoops :shifty:). Might head back tonight

    Your Greatest Flights

I have two legendary flights of mine that fit the question: - I took off from KSC in an XR-2 with unlimited fuel, and ascended normally until I inverted myself and ended up reaching 13km/s over South America. Eventually I got bored and cut the throttle, ending up in an hyperbolic trajectory. I...

Question How come I almost can't find any female Orbinauts?

The Orbiter Community doesn't only include forums or large groups. There are plenty of Orbinauts who discuss their latest re-entry failure in their own little circle of friends, just as any with any game (or really any activity) Also, on the topic of girls not really being here: we hide in...

    Cool names for spacecraft

A lander called lander? I know redundancy is a great thing for spaceflight but that takes it a little too far :P Anyways, my suggestions: consternation contrivable (would choose this if I were to have a personal spacecraft ) constitution Note - is good for finding...
