I am in awe at you developers talents. :salute:
I replaced the D3D9Client.dll in the Plugin module with the 4.25 version and the problem is fixed.
The 'DG-S ready for takeoff' is a good scenario to troubleshoot this with. Some zooming and panning produces the issue easily.
I swapped back and...
For the latest D3D9 releases (4.22-4.24) for Orbiter 2016, I get a black rendering when viewing planets at low angles at certain zooms. Older D3D9Client.dll do not give this.
Horizontal haze disable in the video settings removes the black.
Happy to do any testing of settings if it helps...
Back after an absence. I have discovered the default Atlantis falls though the pad when surface elevation is checked.
I wonder if there is any scenario code to stop this?
It doesn't happen to other rockets like falcon 9. Is it because they are attached to a tower?
Thanks Donamy. Remote works great.
I should preserve with the ISS A-Z . I use Orbiter for teaching, so have a fairly stock install.
So why is yours not pointing at the ISS port? Hmmm.
Have you tried: Default ISS; a different port; another vessel (DG)?
I only use the default ISS. But I get the Cargo Dragon 2 to move from 600 m below to 280 m in front and to point at the ISS dock.
Blank on the NOR is correct. This will control the roll. If it's not pointing, then it's a yaw maneouver.
Sounds like a TGT dock selection issue. Maybe?
How do you...
I hope this is not too simple an answer.
RPOP is the Shuttle's Rendezvous and Proximity Operations Program that is used for docking, yes?
To dock the Shuttle to the ISS using Pursuit MFD:
Select DOC. (Docking Relative Mode)
Select TGT and type in ISS. (Target = ISS)
You have the latest and greatest versions of everything jungzimm.
Quicksaves of the Falcon work fine after stage separation, after a couple of tests. So this'll be an easy fix.
As soumya-8974 asks, a Orbiter.log file will help the experts (not me) sort it out. As soon you have the CTD, open...
Thanks for your help team.
Now, I can't get it to fail. Something has reset!
soumya-8974, did you get anything on your log to help?
Many thanks for your responses. Isn't this the best program and community!
I'm off to download donamy's latest Dragon SPXC21 add-on.
As soon as it happens again I will post. It's stopped it for the time being and I can't reproduce.
soumya-8974, could you post if it's still happening on yours.
I have messed around with Extra/Orbiter Shutdown Options when it was playing up, but this didn't have any affect.
How weird that it...
Thanks for the help.
Using the default scenarios gattispilot:
Atlantis to ISS, Atlantis Satellite Launch and Atlantis Launch into Sunrise.
Yes soumya-8974, it launches by itself straight away without thrust and falls back through launchpad mesh.
Orbiter 2016, D3D9.
On my mac it did it...
I haven't been following the thread.
Hope you don't mind a uniformed question.
How is the project going? Will there be a shuttle to supplement Dr Martin's? for Orbiter 2016?
Do you need any beta testers?
Many thanks for the prompt reply.
I will do some troubleshooting.
I can confirm that the module fails to load for me. (Orbiter log). I have tried my installation on a windows machine and get the same result.
The old version load and runs fine.
I'll do a clean install of Orbiter and D3D9 and let...
I'm a fan of your addons.
fyi Running Orbiter on a Mac with Wine, I do not see the Vessel Load MDF displayed. It can be chosen in the Launchpad Modules OK, but does not appear in the MDF menus when running Orbiter.
Merci beaucoup Dan.
So wonderful to have a new update.
Orbiter Sound 4.0 worked great in Orbiter 2016, with the minor exception of the Radio MFD. You have made that fully compatible with Orbiter Sound 5.0, but with the addition of new features:
The ability to tune the atc to match the...
Just checking that there is no Dragon forward main engine to do the circularization, align and sync burns, but I should use the abort engines?
The tip to adjust the inclination during the launch is a big help.
