LUCY v.230315
Add-on for Orbiter2016

REQUIREMENTS
Launch scenario requires:
"Multistage2015 for Orbiter2016"
https://www.orbiter-forum.com/resources/multistage2015-for-orbiter-2016.398/

INSTALLATION
Extract all files to the root of your Orbiter2016 program directory, preserving the directory structure. This should NOT overwrite anything in the standard Orbiter package.

WHAT'S IN THIS ADD-ON?
The Lucy spacecraft.
Asteroids Dinkinesh, Donaldjohanson, Eurybates/Queta, Polymele/Shaun, Leucus, Orus, Patroclus/Menoetius.
AtlasV launcher and Launch Complex 41.
Launch, post-launch and flyby scenarios.

MISSION
NASA 12-year mission to study Jupiter's Trojan asteroids.

SCENARIO NOTES
Scenarios use JPL Horizons trajectory data.
Scenarios prior to 01 January 2023 ("02 Post-launch" and "03 EGA1") do not contain correct historical data! (I'm not sure what they represent, but I left them in anyway!)
Scenarios use custom solar system "LUCY_Sol.cfg" which includes default Orbiter planets and the asteroids included in this add-on.

LAUNCH SCENARIO
Press P at T-10s for ascent autopilot targeting 185x185km parking orbit, 28.6 Inc.(Equatorial).

IMAGING
Lucy can take images which are saved as monochrome .bmp in "LUCY_Images" folder in your Orbiter2016 "Images" folder.
Images are 2deg FOV at the centre of the IPP (Instrument Pointing Platform) view.
Image processing takes ~1s.

INSTRUMENT POINTING PLATFORM (IPP)
The IPP contains Lucy's science and imaging payload.
It can rotate 180deg around X-axis, from -Z (backwards) to +Z (forwards).
It can also point +/- 15deg off-plane.
An IPP target can be specified by name, and the IPP commanded to track it.
Internal vessel view is automatically switched to IPP view when imaging.

LUCY ADD-ON SPACECRAFT INFO
8 x 1N RCS engines for rotation (3-axis balanced) and linear thrust (up/down, left/right, only).
6 x 27N RCS engines for linear thrust (forward only).
RCS engines have lower ISP and will incur cosine losses.
Momentum wheels for rotation (3-axis).

CONTROLS
G = Deploy Solar Arrays
