111105 doesn't working

When I've opened the 111105 patch of Orbiter 2010+P1, it shows an error:
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.
Why does it happen? Please tell me!

This is a long outdated and superseded beta commit. Any support would have ended with the subsequent commit, so you are on your own there. If you want to comment on beta versions, please use the latest (currently SVN r.87).

Why are you interested in this commit specifically?

...to test the D3D11 Client.

If there is no version of the D3D11 client for the 2010 or 2010-P1 release versions, then this is an indication that the client never made it to a release stage. If the sources are available, you might be able to compile against 2010-P1, or, with significantly more work involved, against 2016. But note that the latter probably requires implementation of the entire surface elevation mechanism, plus any additional changes to the client interface.

If 111105 really was the last commit the D3D11 client was linked against, then my suspicion is that the project is dead (or permanently dormant). Are you planning to resurrect it?

No, thank you!

So to summarise, the outcome of this report is that the D3D11 client is no longer functional with any orbiter version. Since this isn't within my control, I am closing the issue.
