Base object orientation

The base objects are always placed on a parallel plane to the horizontal plane at base center, with the object elevation dependent on the MAPOBJECTSTOSPHERE parameter. This causes objects to be tilted in respect to the local horizontal, which is noticeable for objects far from the base center. It makes sense, at least for MAPOBJECTSTOSPHERE = TRUE, to have objects rotated to match the local horizontal.

Yep. This would seem to account for the visual distortions I have been seeing. The structures I nail together can involve several dockings. One bad dock dock design does you in. It would appear getting the docking parameters right is important. This applies to the Parent rotation animations not applied correctly to scale animations listed below. Not quite sure how I cancel them.
