Surface base marker is not shown at base elevation

The surface base marker (F9 key) is shown, not at the base elevation, but at sea level.
This issue only occurs in MOGE, D3D9 has the markers showing at the correct elevation.
Using Orbiter 2016 (BETA) r64.

Thanks. This is a known problem.

In fact, I am planning an extensive overhaul of the surface marker mechanism. I want to implement them as another quadtree layer, so that level-of-detail issues are automatically taken care of. I.e. a label is only displayed when the tile it is associated with is active. Once I get around doing this I will also take care of the elevation problem.

Martins, please don't change it into something that makes adding new markers too complicated

As it is, it's simple to get a marker list from http://planetarynames.wr.usgs.gov/Se...s?target=CERES and export it to Orbiter.

If you need to split the data into layers (makes sense for zooming), may I suggest that you do it by feature diameter ? USGS lists have that info.
