No place to report bugs found and squashed
How and where to report fixes, repairs, improvements and modifications?

This forum appears to be lacking a place to report solutions. I was thinking how, like in so many forums, one person poses a question and then has to wait...and wait... and sometimes wait a long time for an anwer. Yet the "fix" was as simple as going into the config file and deleting a typo (true story). Imagine what it would be like to check on the status of bugs, fixes, half-fixes & semi-fixes, partial and complete repairs, improvements and modifications before posting. I spent 7 hours searching for the reason Orbiter was crashing because of a semi-colon typo in the config file. No need to keep it a secret. Get it fixed and get back to work (on having fun)!

Puts the Fun in Dysfunctional
What you're describing is essentially a "knowledgebase", a collaborative effort to report and log resolutions to issues which future users can then use as reference to resolve problems with more ease and speed.

In that context, you can consider the whole forum to be such a thing! The search function is a great way to find other references to the same problem you're having, and there's a fabulous article (written by an awesome guy before he was even a moderator) all about how to form issue / problem reports here.
