Sea Dragon Project: Rocket Scheme

After announce on the forum about "Seadragon" and documentation about this project of 60's, I am trying to replicate model of this amazing launcher as accurate, as I can. I think, my book and other model of space ship, will wait until I am not finish this.

Enterprise at SLC-6, Vandenberg, CA - 1985

Prior to the Challenger disaster, the Department of Defense planned to launch the Shuttle from the U.S. West Coast, Space Launch Complex 6, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, on military Space Shuttle missions, but that was scrapped after the STS-51-L tragedy in 1986.

Jarvis Space Center

Jarvis Space Center (under construction) is located on Jarvis Island, small patch of ground near the equator on the Pacific Ocean.

Spaceport consists of:

- Heavy Launch Vehicle complex
- Medium Launch Vehicle complex
- Vertical Assembly Facility (for HLVs)
- Horizontal Assembly Facility (for MLVs)

Why VSAs and OMP don't go along... yet

I think it is high time to write a bit about the topic of virtual space agencies and their implicit desire to use a multiplayer framework.

Why I think so?

Well, it is a re-occuring pattern to have some new member join O-F and get the cool and original idea to start a virtual space agency. Most of the time, this new member is rather young and seems to have high ambitions to start his career right on top of the hierarchy (it is rocket business after all, isn't it?). And...

USC: PFT Program

The PFT (Powered Flight Tests) Program has now concluded with the safe landing of Cruise Test #2.

The following are the flight reports of all PFT flights.

Take-off and Landing Test #1
The purpose of this flight was to see if the Delta Glider would be able to take-off, fly and land under its own power.
Monitor began takeoff roll at 16:30 ET on July 3. Flew runway heading 330 to altitude of 1500 Meters and speed of 250 M/s. Changed course at OMN to 090. Changed
