First of all thank you very much for your interest and comment, and excuse the delay in responding. Really.

It is very sad for me (and I do not want to victimize me), but a series of family problems and then personal health problems prevent me from carrying out several activities (involving concentrate on an activity in general).

Then I tell you everything I intended to do (and someday sooner or later I will).

The project was to be called "Andromeda Universe" (and the idea was to publish bases and spaceships along with posts in the forum to put together a story):
1- Planets with bases and cities (inspired by Pictown)
2- Spaceships programmed in "Vinka Spacecraft" (initially) and then complete my dream to program them in C ++. Quite detailed booths (I love SketchUp), and custom sounds (I even record sounds and voice to create a sort of onboard computer). Compatibility UCGO and Ummu.
3- A huge space station called Orion.
And all that in LGPL release or some open license.

One of these days I will release all the models and all the project, only because if someone is interested in vessel's meshes.

You can see some images that I uploaded to: http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=34529

    http://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthr...5&postcount=15

Again thank you very much for your comment and I apologize for the delay in responding.

A Saga Ends; An Adventure Begins

Wow! Congratulations! I've been following your blogs from the beginning and I am really happy for you!

This is a childhood dream of me too. I really hope that I can accomplish the same thing someday. Your blogs encouraged me to go for it... when I have the money though

    Safe flights and have fun!

Time for a new step.. Again!

Congratulations, fellow linuxer! Skillsets like this are usually in high enough demand that you can afford to dictate where you work and what else you get along with it. Don't be afraid to make positive career decisions for yourself, even if the company you're leaving did need you. They'll cope without you and you won't enjoy staying in a position where you feel overworked and under-utilised. Kudos to you for branching out!

Time for a new step.. Again!

I remember that I got a job at university in a pretty informal way: A friend talked about a problem at a research project of his employer, I had nothing better to do on the afternoon, 60 minutes later I had been employed...

Now I am campaigning for becoming senior developer before my hair turns gray...

While you're doing that, read Plato and Aristotle too.

6 years might have been a long time ago for you, drop in the bucket for me. Political and socioeconomic values will change over the course of a lifetime. What looked good as a teenager loses appeal in the late 20's. Some shift or another occurs periodically.

Where a person lives has a lot to do with it as well. Urban "values" are vastly different from rural perspectives.

No one cares. Communist, non communist. No one cares. It strikes me that you're posting just to try to wind people up. Don't, the staff are watching. Always.

From what I've gathered the single value of communism is there wasn't anyone homeless.

    And, that's about it.

When you take conservatism and liberalism to their extreme don't you wind up with the same thing? A totalitarian regime with a single person in charge?

I really like this idea. It can be quite the lucrative choice of aerosurface building to create eleflaperons. Love the coined term by the way. Made me chuckle.

Interesting. Did you do something special so you can say "became a communist recently"? Like joining a political party or fully grasping the communist concept for example...

    Welp, now I'm interested.

I kind of agree with you about Elite: Dangerous. And Star Citizen, well, less said the better I guess, but this one sounds like it might just have enough fiction in the science to make it an interesting game.

Thanks for the heads up and mini-review!

3 G's isn't all that much actually. Remember, the crew has lived under 1 G the entire mission, so there's none of this Zero G to 3 G issue.

I've got to get back into the VSA stuff. Writers block and work have been killers.
Thanks! Yes it's hard to find time to fly AND keep everyone who's interested posted (although I really like that, like some sort of "This week @ MSA".
Looking forward to some updates from your VSA

Question: Is there still a launch pad that can be used to support Delta II launches? I thought the pad they were using for Delta II launches was taken over and refurbished for launching some other vehicle already?
    Not yet in my Sol
