STS-25 with P5 segment and MPLM-1

Space Shuttle Atlantis lifted off this afternoon on mission STS-25, to deliver P5 segment that will allow attachment of another solar array on the port truss in the future, and MPLM-1 a temporary storage module for fuel and rubbish.
Secondary task of the mission is to install a new pipeline that will allow emergency refueling of Soyuz vehicles from the Multi-docking Module of the Station.

CTV-01 test vehicle

The first vehicle of the CTV serie blasted off aboard an Ariane 5 from Kourou this morning (local time).

CTV-01 is unmanned.
It is the 1st of 2 unmanned flight that will test deeply all the systems.

Mission duration is 2 days, and will end with reentry and recovery of the capsule.

CTV-03 will carry 4 astronauts in orbit.
Manned science flights will be CTV-03, 04 and 05, and will end...

Finally, it's been 15 minutes since I installed it and now I'm finally in the game. What the heck? Why are there snowball on my plane? Snow in hawaii?

Ah crap, it's been 5 seconds in the cockpit and i've already nuked hawaii. You can really feel the airblast.

Mission Specialist 2 Garrett Reisman
Mission Specialist 3 Tracy Caldwell

Instead Endeavour, lies the MCT ready and poised to bring power to the space station, and the OBSS, used on every shuttle mission Post Columbia.

OFSS mission 13

First of all, this is my first mission without autopilots.

I used these MFD.
For start:
Launch MFD
GPC MFD + in last stage Align orbit MFD

For rendezvous:
Orbit MFD + in last stage Dock MFD
Sync Orbit MFD

For deorbit burn:
Glideslope MFD for deorbit burn
AeroBrake MFD during all time
Glideslope MFD for control speed and altitude during reentry - great MFD!!!
In last stage I switched to GPC...
