I continue and continue to work on the Add On manager.

Vash helped me by giving me direct access to the Orbit hangar site. It is not quite perfect yet but It will be so simple when finished that this manager could be a must have tool. Many Thanks to him !

What the manager can do today :
- direct download of add'on (in background)
- manage dependencies between addons
- unzip and unrar.
- Add'on that are exe can be managed too
- Patchs of configuration...

The Birth of Orbiter-Forum

Posted 11-22-2009 at 07:24 PM by Tex

October 14, 2007 - Orbiter-Forum.com is founded.

Some of you have been around long enough to remember when I first suggested the idea of setting up a new Orbiter forum over on the M6 forum. The idea was not very well accepted among the senior members (rightfully so, no one wants to start all over again) which ended up in me giving up on the idea all together for the time being. This was probably a good thing since at the time I had just founded a vBulletin forum setup for friends and...

Enterprise is ready for her Fourth of July launch to begin missions for the Helios Project. On board is the prototype version of the Orbital Maneuvering Vehicle (OMV-00) and a satellite that will be used in the communications network for the new station and transferring OMVs. Enterprise is currently the only orbiter that will have the Centaur Integrated Support System or CISS needed to transport OMVs. Get outta here! Take off! SCRAM!

So everybody I asked about fuel management told me to scram.
After I realised they didn't mean they wished me to leave, I began researching.

After reading through the forums I decided the XR series was the best choice for the level of realism I wanted (hi-tech, but not too easy) I took delivery of an Altea XR2 to use as a testbed for my 'scramming' experiments (and any other risky ventures that come my way).

Advertisment first published in Kamikaze Journal #346

You can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs.
Your requirements are the omelette... Callsign Zero are the eggs.

Testing new aircraft, experimental avionics, innovative space exploration techniques, running missions that nobody else is willing (or stupid enough) to try.
Taking the risks...
