The AESD Personal Watercraft Performance (PWCP) program is an experimental program designed to study the uses and behavior of small marine craft. The AESD owns four PWC Sea-Doo vehicles, some reaching a predicted speed of over 60 miles per hour. On Sunday, July 12, 2015, the AESD completed the first Personal Watercraft Performance (PWCP) program mission. The mission objective was to test the maximum speed for the SeaDoo RTX personal watercraft. During the test, the PWC operator concluded that the top speed of the mission was 66 miles per hour (mph). The specifications: RTX was almost fully loaded, and the operator weighed approximately 150 lbs.

B6-4 Hot Fire Test 2

Hot Fire Test 2 was a test of the B6-4 solid rocket engine. The first selected date of the event was Sunday, June 28th, 2015. As the day progressed, it became apparent that the weather was not going to allow a good test, and therefore it was scrubbed (see previous update).
