"Under construction"

Seems odd after a revamp of the site at the start of the month?

Skylon and ATV at the ISS concurrently - that would make Europe proud

That would be something to see through a telescope! Fingers crossed RE get their Sabre engine into reality, that gives Skylon a chance.

Where it would take off from is another thing, little chance of a new runway happening in the UK soon. Especially when its this length:

Yes, anywhere big and flat! Of course you need the infrastructure, and the RE movies show it mixing with commercial airlines. Maybe they could market it as a Concorde development...

The LAPCAT shows Brussels to Sydney as a route:
http://www.reactionengines.co.uk/lapcat_facts.html
so they'll need new facilities...

That would definitely get me out to do some plane spotting

Roughly double an economy ticket and roughly half a business class one. I know travelling business people that would jump at that opportunity to get to London so quick. It really is a good price if they can make it a reality.

I'm out of touch with plane prices, I only fly short haul about 300 miles in the UK. Depending on when you go its £150 return Newcastle/Heathrow. Can be cheaper, usual deals, book ahead, un-social hours.
EasyJet are cheaper, but thats into Stanstead, so a train trip to the wrong side of London, then tube/train. Takes longer than the flight! Used to always use the train, but they got expensive, back to driving now, what fun.

The Troy mission seems like a nice concept. The animation seemed only so-so. I've seen better quality from Orbinauts. Is anyone working on the Troy mission add-ons?
