So I this so far.:

Not sure how to do the other animation. Meaning like the visor would be 0to 1 state but the others the user could change like the robotic arm state?

---------- Post added 04-20-17 at 05:48 AM ---------- Previous post was 04-19-17 at 06:23 AM ----------

Got further.

But what about the CandanaArm location. It is in the Middle of the module?

What do you mean? I thought you were working with the EVA guy?

I had the same issue with the CanadaArm location in both 2010 and 2016.

Fixed it in both by removing the attachment specs from the SSRMSD.cfg file so it just reads:

Code:
ClassName = SSRMSD
Module = SSRMSD
I am running both in Linux in PlayOnLinux but I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work in Windows.

Yes. Working on eva guy but also saw that Canadarm issue. I will try that fix.

On the eva guy. I can make 2 attachments one for each hand.

Just about got animations done. Add some lights and I will test it out at the ISS

An attachment on the left side would also be good. For tools and such.

Trying to get the attachment correct. Here the arm is set at 0 state and so I set the attachment point to this static one. But when I attach to the arm the wrench is on his back.
Code:
	//left arm swing
	static UINT leftarmraiseGrp1[1] = { 22 };//rotate part
	static UINT leftarmswingGrp[3] = { 23, 24, 25 };//translate frame
	static UINT leftwristroll[1] = { 26 };//arm
	static UINT leftwristpitch[3] = { 27, 28, 29 };//arm

	anim_LEFTARMRAISE = CreateAnimation(0.5);
	anim_LEFTARMSWING = CreateAnimation(0.88);
	anim_LEFTWRISTROLL = CreateAnimation(0.5);
	anim_LEFTWRISTPITCH = CreateAnimation(0.5);

	rms5_anim[0] = new MGROUP_ROTATE(0, leftarmraiseGrp1, 1, _V(0, 0.5408655, -5.341899E-02), _V(1, 0, 0), (float)(160 * RAD)); // -2 .. +145
	rms5_anim[1] = new MGROUP_ROTATE(0, leftarmswingGrp, 3, _V(-0.1752803, 0.5959535, -5.341899E-02), _V(0, 0, -1), (float)(60 * RAD)); // -2 .. +145
	rms5_anim[2] = new MGROUP_ROTATE(0, leftwristroll, 1, _V(-0.43, 0.11, -0.08), _V(0, 1, 0), (float)(160 * RAD)); // -2 .. +145
	rms5_anim[3] = new MGROUP_ROTATE(0, leftwristpitch, 3, _V(0., 0.05, -0.08), _V(1, 0, 0), (float)(100 * RAD)); // -2 .. +145
	rms5_anim[4] = new MGROUP_ROTATE(LOCALVERTEXLIST, MAKEGROUPARRAY(arm_tip), 3, _V(2.1, 0.6, .160), _V(1, 0, 0), (float)(894 * RAD)); // -447 .. +447
	anim_JOINTLEFTHAND = CreateAnimation(0.0);
Code:
	xp0 = arm_tip[1] - arm_tip[0]; normalise(xp0);
	xr0 = arm_tip[2] - arm_tip[0]; normalise(xr0);
	SetAttachmentParams(LHAND, arm_tip[0], xp0, xr0);
Code:
arm_tip[0] = _V(2.1, 0.6, .160);
	arm_tip[1] = _V(1.1, .6, .16);
	arm_tip[2] = _V(2.1, 1.6, .16);

A belt grapple would be nice. For a drill or tool bag.

Also, it looks like the visor is opening down instead of up.

Working on a power tool/drill. Yes I can add an attachment for a belt. I guess it will need to rotate with the waist and do the lights

Yes I saw that on the Visor.

So even though the focus is on EVA tehter so you ccan move the eva tether you can click on the eva window and control the joints,... of the eva guy.

Two thing I haven't gotten to work is the Visor. and the lights. Not sure if I can get the lights to move with the animation?

Not sure what you mean? But I think you can move the eva box around the screen.

Ok. I can make a new eva box for that guy also if you want.

The other dialog boxes are able to be moved to a second monitor, when using multi-monitors.
