Hi
I am working on a MSL mod and are asking if anyone has or can make the meshes and explain how the animation "system" works. The mod will use Spacecraft3 and basic .ini files. Any help will be appreciated

Is it based off of a real reference design or just your own creation? I can give a try at modelling it for you, but the best option would be to use these tutorials for anim8or
Once you create the mesh in 3ds format, you can convert it over to orbiters .msh file format a variety of ways. The one available at Vinkas site is probably the best That help for a start?

http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/3d_resources/models.html <- Here is the NASA 3D Models library in differents formats, you should have a look into it. Free and free-of-use.

Animation parts as in groups? If you or someone else made them as one single group, the best solution may be to select the individual points in wireframe view, copy, delete them, then paste them back in. That usually works in anim8or, but it may leave open faces. (Oh no! Air leaking)
