Ok, I have made my first video using Fraps and Sony Vegas. It is rendering right now. I know it is missing some background music, but this was mainly as an experiment to see what I can do. It will be here soon. EDIT: Here it is. It is of a Soyuz Launch.

Interesting video.

While I'm no movie maker myself, I might offer a suggestion or two that could help. First, try to be smoother with the time acceleration. You switch from 1x to 10x and back again pretty frequently, and that gets jarring. In fact, it might be a better idea to keep things on 1x all the time and then simply cut to the scenes you want to show, removing all the boring "getting to orbit" bits and whatnot and avoiding blasting through it on 10x. Second, tap the "i" key to get rid of all the informational text that Orbiter displays. It makes it look more like a movie.

Keep up the nice work.

Great video Carmen!! You got some unique camera angles in there and it really made the whole buildup suspenseful. Great idea with those take-off angles shot from a car too. Well done!

I'll now try to fly from KSC to Wideawake with a DGIV in 1000s.

almoust made it (1200s for flight, but 500s landing maeuver) I think I would have done it in 900s with a XR2. Video comes later.

Carmen, I love the "Redneck" Firefly!!! I kept expecting you to pull a "crazy Ivan".
That particular add-on is what prompted me to download Orbiter a few years ago in the first place.

You can't stop the signal!

Thanks Phantom - but at that point we didn't know how to really fly the Firefly with all the keyboard commands. Maybe in the next "redneck" video :3

We did however learn to fly them in orbit in close formation today.
