    Advanced Question ISS Replacement

The OMS/RCS isn't properly implemented at the moment so you can disregard much of it. OMS He TK P is the actual OMS helium tank pressure as measured in PSI. N2 is the same but for the OMS nitrogen tanks. Pc is the chamber pressure of the OMS engines as measured in percent. The Aft RCS has its...

    Orbiter 2024 Launch readiness

What remains to be updated document-wise from and end user standpoint is the D3D9Client manual as it has no mention of the atmospheric rendering or the support for custom terrain flattening files (*.flt).

    Request Flat Cape Canaveral area

Could someone who is better versed with terrain editing than me please flatten the general Cape Canaveral area. Right now, it is way to uneven with major roads having visible rises when they are supposed be very flat and even, one such example is the Orbiter Tow Way that connects the Shuttle...

    Advanced Question Using the VAB

Not all aspects of ground operations have been implemented yet. So far, only the Crawler on its own is really supported. Nothing else.

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

Centaur LOX Fill/Drain valve is the valve in question that caused tonight's scrub. Also sounds like they're troubleshooting an SRB Safe&Arm device issue as well.

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

Centaur LOX valve anomaly is the cause of the scrub. This was an issue that was worked earlier in the count but apparently not solved and they may have to roll back to VIF if hardware changeout is required (no vehicle access at the pad, any hands on troubleshooting always requires roll back to...

General Question Hey all, back into orbiter and have a question

The shuttle is way more complex than any aircraft conceived before and since. Flight crew members usually spend their preflight training time 2/3rds studying and 1/3rd doing simulations (Mission Specialists (career NASA civilian astronauts) either in the Fixed or Motion Base Simulators if...

    Problem Orbiter won't run?

This is not entirely accurate. Orbiter_NG uses no graphics client by default, which is why it has the suffix "_NG" which is short for "No Graphics". It can make use of any graphics client, it's just that D3D9Client is the only one available.

    Discussion Returning Yes or No

Not really. There have been a couple of attempts at Virtual Space Agencies (VSAs) through out the years but they all eventually folded. It's because Orbiter isn't really geared at multi-crew member operations. There is a couple of multi-player add-ons however but these are more geared at...
