"Tutorials" button added to front page in Default skin?
A proposal to perhaps reduce some common questions by new users

Seems like a good proposal, though I'm not at all sure if it's easy or even possible to implement, given the rigidity in some of these skins.

Having that "Orbiter" menu is our attempt to be clever and streamline the header . There is a direct "Orbiter Tutorials" link in the footer. Looking at it quickly, putting the extra link in the header doesn't really fit in a 1024 px width browser window (at least using the current two line header layout). Perhaps we could move the tabs down below the header image instead of having them to the side of it

Anything is possible, time and money are the primary constraints

It is quite pretty the way it is. If only more people would just click on the Orbiter tab before posting, though.

Well, that seems more or less universal.

Thanks for the tip Izack! I too have thought about this being the default skin, there really should be a big tutorial button. We'll brain storm on this and see what we can come up with.

Perhaps , for not logged in users, there could be a small banner at the top. Similar to the donations banner. Of course, most registered users wouldn't like this annoyance, hence the suggestion for non-registered people only. Or it could be an option to turn off, if possible. Just some ideas
