111105 draws MFD backgrounds even when MFD is shut off
Although an MFD is shut off, Orbiter still seems to draw a black background
I can't say for how long this has been around. I know that it wasn't that way in 2010P1, since there everything is working nicely. Here's the problem in a bit more detail:
I have a glass cockpit, so the MFDs are invisible when they are shut off. I achieve this by simply copying a transparent Alpha channel over the MFD draw area. Of course I only do that the moment the MFD is switched off or at a total panel redraw, to save resources. It works nice enough in 2010P1.
However, in 111105, the result looks like this:
The MFDs seem to draw a black background on the panel even though they are switched off.

You mean it's in the 2D panel cockpit mode, and not in the glass cockpit mode, right? It can be misleading when you say that you have a glass cockpit.

Yes, it's in 2d panel mode. Maybe in VC too, Can't test. Sorry 'bout the confusion.
