Auto Pilot Spaz
We all know what it is.
As most of us know, even on faster hardware when going past 100x time warp auto pilot freaks out. It sends your ship spinning out of control at speeds even kill rotation can't handle . The way most of us fix this is by using scenario editor. It would be much easier if auto pilot was automatically disabled when it the sim goes past 100x time warp, or a user defined value.

OrbiterSound can do it, just check the appropriate box on the SoundConfig screen.

Last i heard of this, this is not a "bug", but a inconvenience. There are 2 different threads. The graphics and physics threads at 100x are out of sync causing a possible memory leak. I am not sure this is the issue, but martins can give a better explanation.

OrbiterSound 3.5 only allows a auto dissable for >10x time warp, that doesn't give much room for customization. Addon craft like the XR2 auto dissable at 10x time warp, but the default ships are fine till 100x time warp.

Hi,
if you are using Orbiter 2010-P1 [v100830], you can try my (attached below) WarpCtrl module. The current version allows you to set a maximum time acclereation factor (e.g. 1000) in a config file.
This just prevents you to go into higher acceleration. No autopilot is informed or so.
You might give it a try
