At this time, all of the radiators are being deployed and tested. Once all the radiators are in place, the EHEs will be assigned to 1 of the primary radiators, the NTEs to another, and all the reactors to a third. Once this is accomplished, the reactors will all be brought online and tested, then the remaining modules will all be added to primary radiators as needed, have their heaters turned on, and lastly brought online.

The remainder of the countdown up to launch is:
  • T-32 hours

Initial fueling of both the RCS and main tanks has been completed and topping off cycles have now commenced and will continue until just before our departure. The filling of the LOH tanks went quicker than expected due to the pre-cooling taking less than expected. Not a big deal, I can live with it from an aesthetics perspective, and I can always change them out later.

I have also attached the mounting boards for the joystick and throttle. Earlier during gluing I had noticed a few fit/alignment issues due to inconsistencies in the parts...

DIY Flightsims - Floor Unit with Center Joystick

Some have already seen my recent comments and links posted in the ChatBox earlier this week, but for the rest, a little background:

I was poking around the DIY Flightsims/Rodger Dodger Aviation site last Saturday, and after about an hour, I decided I'd like to try my hand at building...
