FSATGMADOE - Astronaut Names Revealed and First Manned Flight

I'd wondered where she went off too... You known she took the beans from Lima? That's what I heard anyway.

Where on Earth is Carmen San Diego?

No one knows, 'cause she's not on Earth!

You could say it is a sort of VSA, just a personal one for me.
This is seperate from REVIO, just something to make my Orbiter flights have a bit more meaning.

REVIO... well, progress is slow but, we're getting there.

Is this a VSA? Will it tie into REVIO or is that a separate project?

Talking of REVIO hows the mission shaping up?

I guess if it keeps its heat shield attached, nothing happens when it lands on the water. It's probably a hard landing for the crew since no rockets are being fired to slow it down and I guess that it eventually will sink...

This is the landing of expedition 18. If you wonder what the explosion-like thing is just before touchdown: these are little rockets firing to give the crew a soft landing
Thanks, I wondered why the heat shield dropped off.
So what would happen if it were to land in water?

    Thanks for the link.
At the moment I'm considering either the Pegase or Soyuz TMA.
I'm thinking I'll probably go with the Soyuz, simply because I find it has a lot of character where as the Pegase is the same old kind of 2 Module capsule you see all the time. (No offence to the creators, it is a great add-on.)

    Darren

Edit: One question about the Soyuz.
Does it land in water or on land?
Sorry if that is a stupid question but I'm not too familiar with the Soyuz.

Edit2: Expect the next entry really, really soon.

Oh jeez! I looked up the Adelaide class frigate. Gave me the willies, I served aboard the same class vessel here in the USN. The USS Groves and USS Doyle.

I just looked at the Anzac class, much better (and meaner) looking, plus the gun is in the proper place. But it looks as if name HMAS Adelaide is going to be taken by an amphibious assault ship, looks a lot like our own Wasp class.

HMAS Majestic perhaps? Or Hobart? (been to Hobart, I really liked it!!!)

If you're naming after a city, how about Adelaide? It isn't small, but it's less famous than Melbourne or Sydney. Also, it's a really cool name.

Well, the storyline has the Aussies making target acquisition and destroying the rocket once I "get it working". That being said, do you have a suggestion for a good name for an Australian ship? I figured Melborne or Sydney would be take by something bigger.
