Lunar Space Shuttles
Writing modules for the vessels from this addon:
Features implemented:
Thrusters (RCS unfinished), particle streams, docking port, attachment point (insofar nonfunctional), nonfunctional VC-type-thing (the same as in the original.)
Features planned:
One-key attachment handling (grab/drop). Currently a PITA.
Floodlight. Should be simple.
Nameplate dependant on scenario line. Sounds complicated.
Question: What is the simplest way to tell the vessel to detach a child when the J key is pressed? I've sort of used Atlantis's method (well, it isn't working quite yet actually) but it seems unnecessarily complicated for my purpose. Payload attachment by J is a secondary objective ATM.
Edit: Attached an alpha release, for no reason really.

It's awesome!
I changed up a few of the textures too (just the door and the caution sign so far), the model isn't perfect, but overall it looks good.
Why are the docking ports so small? Should I retexture them to reflect their not-being-APAS?
I'd make a 2D panel, but then you'd have such a load of work...

Attachment handling now works. J to jettison.
