1952 class prophecy

I was at my grandparent's house over Christmas break. After rummaging through old yearbooks, I found this. Each year the senior class made predictions about the future in a section labeled "Class Prophecy." Two from the 1952 yearbook were golden.
Addon ideas...

Quote:
"In the year of 2000 A.D. I find myself, Name Removed, seated at my ultra-atomic desk, on the stationary planet which revolves around the earth once every two hours. This planet was fired up here piece by piece some twenty-five years ago. I was elected by the people of the earth to stay on this planet and watch over the earth.
...
Looking down on City I think of my graduation class of 1952 and wonder where they all are. City is a large city of about 10,000,000 people, it has grown because of the Rocket Firm which was built there. The great scientist Name Removed Jr is president of the firm, the first woman to ever become president of a rocket firm. Also the test pilot of these new rockets and head pilot of the routes between Mars and the earth is Name Removed III, who joined the air force shortly after graduating from high school."

Are they talking about a geostationary planet?Quote:In the year of 2000 A.D. A geostationary planet couldn't have an orbital period of two hours.
. . . I'm such a nerd.
