    Updates Voyager mission news

If we consider the dimensions of the milkyway, the current position of the probe and how long it is travelling already, it's actually scary how big our galaxy is, let alone the universe. It takes 230 million years for our solar system to orbit the center of the milkyway once... Also, that we...

I missed it too. It is probably stored in the low priority compartment in my brain due to being a sub-orbital tourist flight only 🤷‍♂️

News A trip to Huntsville AL

“It may have been a small step for Neil, but it's a heck of a big leap for me.” 😎 I whish I would live in the US. You are very lucky 👍

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

That's the nature of human spaceflight. Just remember STS. It was a real pain in this regard and one could write a book about the anomalies . But at the end, it launched a 135 times for 30 years.

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

Spaceflight at its best 😅 On the other hand, one can assume it is possibly as safe as it can be. But the new target is nice since it is one of my days off.

    Discussion Spaceflight Video Thread

Wow 😵😍👌 Nice to hear that young voice of Kranz. Although he doesn't really sound that different today. They should actually play such audios in (now) FCR 2 for visitors. It's such a good quality, doesn't sound old at all. Half a century ago already... damn. When I became interested, it wasn't...

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

That should actually be an example for our railway workshop. If they would maintain trains with that philosophy, there would barely be significant train cancellations. Right now, if trains were rockets, no rocket would actually ever (be allowed to) fly. Heck, in the 21st century they don't even...

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

Yeah. I think Musk is more in favour of tourism and colonization, which isn't bad. But I personally like the more "conservative" and machinery design for supporting exploration and science. I also like how stuff from Apollo and the Shuttle made it into Starliner, like the capsule's design or the...

    Updates Boeing's CST-100 Starliner

I am in hope for next Monday to Wednesday. It's three days off for me. Congratulations by the way (y) But it was nice only watching the suit checks, the ingress and egress, the new team and the "new" location, even with a scrub.
